The Midas Collaborative provides numerous benefits to our membership organizations. These include collaboration opportunities, networking events, technical assistance or partnership in program design and delivery, as well as no cost and discounted professional development workshops throughout the year. Midas serves as an umbrella collaborative for member organizations and other frontline local partners, amplifying their efforts and sharing best practices to promote more prosperous communities across the state. We have a holistic approach to financial security - to create a strong collaborative network that is united around a shared mission: to support and protect the financial security of those most in need. Midas is committed to the identity and perspective of a network of practitioners, while engaging in strategic partnerships with other forms of institutions.GeographiesMassachusetts, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedCommunity and economic developmentEconomically disadvantaged people––Legislative Advocacy
The Midas Collaborative, with its many partners and members, educates and advocates for policy change at both the state and federal levels. Midas' participants and community partners are the voices in these legislative policy discussions, connecting personal finances with public policy. These discussions provide opportunities for leadership for the whole Midas team to promote economic policies that will positively affect our communities.GeographiesMassachusetts, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedCommunity and economic developmentEconomically disadvantaged people––
