Volunteer Trail Maintenance Program
During this Fiscal Year, we continue to be the largest on-the-ground volunteer trail maintenance program on BLM Lands. We have performed much needed work on 110 miles of trails including clearing downed trees, maintaining water bars, and brushing trails. This work included maintaining Stewards Adopt-A-Trails, and building new trails working alongside BLM in the Keyesville Management Area.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJun 1, 2022 – May 31, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$91.1KTrail Preservation and Advocacy Program
Trail Preservation/Trail Advocacy Program - During this Fiscal Year, we continue to be engaged with the Forest Service to help draft the Sequoia Forest Plan Revision. This includes submitting substantive comment letters to help ensure recreation opportunities are preserved, maintained, and expanded to meet current and future needs. We also worked with educating Legislators on recreation programs and on legislation affecting recreation. We continue to push for the completion of the Piute Travel Plan with the Forest Service.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJun 1, 2022 – May 31, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided––
