  • Student Loan Debt Awareness Initiative

    The Coalition advanced its mission in 2022 by conducting informational convenings and sharing quality, free resources on how to minimize student loan debt and learn about loan forgiveness and loan repayment options. The Coalition worked with its members to increase FAFSA completion rates by high school seniors in Wisconsin.

    The Coalition continued its support of increasing FAFSA completions among Wisconsin high school seniors through the support of a Wisconsin Equitable Recovery Grant. Support services included workshops, school sessions, a social media outreach campaign and individualized completion help sessions through the Coalition member, Fair Opportunity Project.

  • Program 2 [2024]

    The Coalition conducted a statewide Money Smart Scholarship Essay Contest. All graduating high school seniors in Wisconsin were encouraged to submit an essay responding to a prompt about how to budget and pay for college. The seven winning participants were each awarded a $1000 Edvest contribution.
