SBS RECEIVES donations restricted to support training costs for partners who qualify for additional support to amplify their mission. SBS considers these receipts along with direct payments from partners as Earned Revenue. The breakdown of these two sources of Earned Revenue are:Training and Services Revenue Received: Training Grants $149,464 Training Fees 47,456 RCT Admin Fees 3,354 Total $200,274SBS is registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Uganda as of December 2019. SBS combines business training highly customized to the needs of people living in poverty with coaching and mentoring that helps people gain the skills and confidence to succeed as microentrepreneurs. SBS is scaling through a social franchise model, in which they partner with mission-aligned organizations serving communities with high rates of poverty who want to offer a proven poverty eradication program to those they serve. SBS provides the program expertise and partner organizations bring their expertise of the local community to customize the program.To date, 287 SBS Coaches from 120 organizations in 25 countries throughout Africa, Asia, and Central America have been certified to deliver SBS. In addition, SBS continues to directly implement its Learning Lab, bringing entrepreneurial education to 774 Ugandan women directly last year. Additional highlighted accomplishments include: Training Workshops In response to COVID and the inability to hold in-person trainings, SBS developed a successful virtual training, having trained 47 coaches. SBS established health and safety SOPs to host one in-person workshop, safely training 19 coaches. BRAC, the largest NGO in the world, contracted Street Business School (SBS) to contribute to their Empowerment and Livelihood for Adolescents (ELA) curriculum and trained 20 coaches within their organization. The organization has extended its reach into Asia earlier than planned via its new virtual offering. Data gathered from partner organizations and evaluated by an external evaluation consultant confirms that partner organizations increase their incomes by 165 percent on average. Eighty percent of participants have at least one business one year after graduating.
