  • Program 1 [2020]

    Our biggest program service is Diamonds and Turkeys. Also annual, in 2020 we were able to purchase 1260 turkeys from retail store Smart and Final. We had a drive-thru option and a walk-up section due to covid. We worked with the City to host it at MacArthur Park in Long Beach, CA. Over 40 volunteers made it possible that day. We pushed hard from 8am to 2pm and succeeded at providing Thanksgiving dinner to over 1200 families. Including dry food goods like rice, pasta, beans, and other non-perishable food items. Due to the pandemic everything was up in the air at the starting stage. But we were able to work hard and raise money for this very important program. During the pandemic food insecurities were very high and common in the neighboorhoods we support. Thanks to our donors and volunteers stepping up to help those under served people in need.

  • Program 2 [2020]

    Every year in December we host our Annual Diamond Christmas Event. Hosted at MacArthur Park in Long Beach, CA. We purchased $25,000 of toys to handout to the under served communities in Long Beach CA. More specifically around the MacArthur Park Neighborhoods on and surrounding Anaheim Ave. We handed out over 9000 toys to hundreds of kids and their families. With the help of over 100 volunteers we were able to succeed in providing a Christmas with gifts to children who don't have that privilege regularly in their household, and may not ever experience that without help from an outside source. In great demand due to the Covid-19 pandemic was headphones for children, We handed out 1000 of them to all the school age children in attendance. Also We handed out 500 little scooters to 400 families with multiple siblings.

  • Program 3 [2020]

    Our Annual Back to School backpack giveaway was a huge success in 2020. We gave out 1300 backpacks filled with school supplies to school age children in Long Beach, CA. We used MacArthur Park on Anaheim Ave at the Homeland Cultural Center. The date was April 24, 2020. The Backpacks were stuffed by 50 volunteers over a 2 weeks time period. On Saturday 4-24-20 we started at 8am till 2pm. We gave markers, pens, pencils, folders, binders, mirrors, rulers, staplers and many other necessary school items. We were also donated some KIND Bars, we included 2 boxes in each backpack.
