Continuing Medical Education Conference
Our primary purpose is to provide continuing medical education for Physician Associates (PAs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs). Our primary Program Service Accomplishment in 2024 was our annual medical education conference for Physician Assistants (PAs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs). Our primary Program Service Accomplishment in 2024 was, we invited 19 medical professionals to provide talks on a range of topics focused on information helpful to PAs and NPs in their daily practice. Thirty three (33) Vendor/Exhibitors displayed products and services that can be used in the work of NPs and PAs to help patients in need who may have physical and/or mental challenges. Conference participants submitted evaluation feedback about both the conference and the speakers that will be used as we select speakers for the coming years and to improve the conference. We emailed each speaker the feedback we received about them specifically. We applied for and received accreditation from both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Physician Assistants for (19 credit hours), so we could offer Continuing Education (CE) to NPs and Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours to PAs. We emailed Save-the-Date information about the conference to approximately 8,000 potential attendees. Onsite, we provided each attendee with a Syllabus, containing conference information and pages for notes. Each attendee also received a name badge and lanyard that symbolized their affiliation with the conference as well as indicated their registration verification. We made speaker slides available online so each participant could download them, print them out, or refer to them online during presentations. Signage was also provided onsite in order to identify the conference and the location of onsite registration to the attendees. Utah Conference Group (UCG) funded a lunch for participants as well as breakfast each morning. Three (3) vendors provided a speaker for a "product thater" to talk about a specific disease state and product that may be used to address it. UCG paid for the audio visual and other presentation needs such as LCD projectors and presentation computers. UCG paid for the conference website and online registration system that allowed potential registrants to find out about the conference and register. Our conference consisted of both in-person and virtual that allowed participants to participate either onsite at Snowbird or virtually.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$90.4K
