The application is completed and submitted online. Applicants can view the Foundation's grantmaking guidelines at https://www.nvent.com/about-nvent/social-responsibility/community-involvemen t/nvent-scholarship-recipients. There are times near the end of the year that the link to the application is removed and only grants by invitation are considered.
Organizations must be recognized by and registered with the Unites States Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Ineligible Recipient Organizations: - Political, fraternal and professional organizations - Religious organizations (churches, synagogues, mosques and other houses of worship), or other organizations primarily promoting religious purposes - Organizations that support pro-life or pro-choice issues - Private foundations, donor advised funds and supporting organizations - Government agencies - Individual schools and their foundations - Individuals including scholarship programs - Organizations that do not comply with nVent's Supplier Code of Conduct policy or Global Human Rights policies - Organizations that do not comply with the USA Patriot Act (or other applicable anti-terrorism rules/laws) Grantees will be asked to complete a progress report one year after a grant is awarded.
