Central Valley Immigration Support Program
In 2021, our legal team assisted indigent, mixed-immigration status Central Valley residents in accessing pro bono legal representation before administrative, state, and federal courts for the purposes of securing immigration relief and pursuing remedies from government abuse. Our first-of-its-kind social services project worked with Central Valley unaccompanied minors released from immigration detention facilities who otherwise lack post-release services. Youth designated a success plan and were matched with a case manager, navigator, and mentor as well as enrolled in community building cohorts. CJA worked with the community to amplify deeper immigration narratives in a broader context, moving beyond the border crisis narrative, using multimedia platforms.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$2.2M
