The primary purpose of Grove Park Renewal is to provide quality affordable housing to poor and distressed individuals and families living in Grove Park. In addition, Grove Park Renewal seeks to connect residents of its houses, as well as other members of the Grove Park neighborhood, to social services and each other in positive, constructive relationships. In 2020, Grove Park Renewal renovated two housing units, provided housing to nine Grove Park residents. Grove Park Renewal also began managing affordable housing units for sister non-profits. Grove Park Renewal Inc. is devoted to revitalizing the Grove Park community by providing high-quality, affordable housing to low-income and distressed individuals and families. Our mission extends beyond housing; we actively work to build a supportive community by fostering connections among residents and linking them to essential social services, creating a foundation for constructive, positive relationships within the neighborhood. In 2023, we expanded affordable housing options to meet the growing needs of the community. After purchasing the Villas of Hope in 2022, we began full operations in 2023, adding 36 apartments to our affordable housing portfolio. We also renovated a house, converting it into a rental property. Altogether, our properties now provide secure, affordable housing for 144 residents across the Grove Park community. Grove Park Renewal manages 62 affordable housing units, the vast majority of which are reserved for households earning 60% or less of the area median income (AMI).
