Our objectives are to use a Master Plan to identify critical areas of mitigation, education of the public, secure funding for training and professional expertise and to secure matching grants for property and homeowners to create defensible space. In addition, we collaborate with county, state, and federal agencies to obtain funding to mitigate wildfire risks, protect watersheds, protect wildlife, create healthy forests, and evaluate risks to evacuation routes to permit safe evacuation in case of wildfire.
