Discussed and took a position on such proposed and passed legislation.2) Represented the interests of members and the Biomass Electric Generation Industry before various State legislative and regulatory bodies, as well as local governmental bodies and regulatory agencies and advocated for or against new legislative or regulatory measures surrounding the industry.3) Educated industry, government legislative bodies and regulatory agencies, and the general public, regarding the benefits of biomass energy by publishing position papers and research on its website at Calbiomass.org as well as in other publications or newsletters.
