Youth Mental Health Documentary
DOCUMENTARY--This is a full length independent documentary following four youths struggling with mental health as they change their journey from a sense of despair to find their pathway to hope. DOCUMENTARY--Guided Short Indie Films. An inspirational short story and conversation series featuring real youth sharing real stories of how finding their pathway to hope was possible despite the emotional challenges they faced. It is hoped that the Documentary will have an international potential to reach hundreds of thousands. Stand UP campaign is a month-long endeavor to create awareness about youth mental health with a particular focus on helping young people "stand up" to anxiety. Stand UP Month also celebrates what would have been the birthday of the foundation's late namesake, Zachary Nimmo, on Oct 1. Stories of Hope: SHORTS is an inspirational short story and conversation series featuring real youth sharing their personal journeys of finding hope despite mental health struggles. Each story offers a meaningful glimpse into their experiences, and concludes with a youth-guided discussion to encourage meaningful conversations. Having a conversation about mental health can be difficult, but with every conversation, we challenge stigma, break down barriers, and support those who need it most. Each short story is under 30 minutes, designed to start those important conversations and inspire change. Z-Cares is proud to share these impactful, award winning stories, highlighting the strength and resilience of young individuals who have transformed their mental health struggles into journeys of hope and healing.
