  • Aurora Mental Health and Recovery Services

    Aurora Mental Health and Recovery (AMHR) updated its brand in 2023 with a vision to foster hope and healing through compassionate, quality care. A major provider of mental health and addictions treatment services in Aurora, Colorado and beyond, AMHR served over 18,300 individuals in FY23. Over 300,000 services were provided in 8 counseling and specialized service centers, in residential facilities, in over 70 local public schools, in local correctional facilities, and in client homes and other community locations. In Fy23, AMHR brought together several programs to form a new Center of Excellence for refugees and immigrants, the Cultural Development and Wellness Center, designed to meet the needs of Aurora's diverse community.

    A MAJOR PROVIDER OF MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION TREATMENT SERVICES IN AURORA, COLORADO AND BEYOND, AMHR SERVED OVER 18,750 INDIVIDUALS IN FY24. MORE THAN 351,000 SERVICES WERE PROVIDED IN EIGHT COUNSELING AND SPECIALIZED SERVICE CENTERS, IN RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES, IN OVER 70 LOCAL PUBLIC SCHOOLS, IN LOCAL CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES, AND IN CLIENT HOMES AND OTHER COMMUNITY LOCATIONS. IN FY24, AMHR BROUGHT THE PROGRAMS OF ASIAN PACIFIC CENTER FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT AND THE ASIAN PACIFIC DEVELOPMENT CENTER INTO THE AURORA MENTAL HEALTH AND RECOVERY.
