The HBASC keeps members informed on issues in the City of Durango and La Plata County while working with their agencies on local industry regulation. In addition, the HBASC provides varied educational programs to meet each of its business members' needs. The HBASC actively supports and gives back to the community through its Community Investment Partners through economic development projects, scholarships, workshops and other activities. The HBASC Trades N Training Program provides students the opportunity to gain experience & certification in a variety of construction-related trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, building construction technology, and others.
