Sanctuary Project for Homeless Support

Emergency shelter to homeless households. The RISE Center paid for hotels for the homeless which provided emergency shelter to 24 families. They also built tiny homes across the street from the RISE Center which currently provides housing for 18 people. The Rise Center's Feeding Program provides services individualized and tailored to Tacoma's black indigenous and people of color BIPOC population. The food bank produces meals that are savored by Tacoma's BIPOC community with its special seasoning and culturally appropriate dishes and snacks.
