    The Sanctuary Project is a project designed to reach house educate provide services change the mentality counsel develop paths to financial freedom find and maintain employment repair severed relationships and change the face of the homeless population and those at risk of homelessness in Pierce County WA. 604 people were reached and provided services including housing transportation and financial education.

  • Emergency Shelter for Homeless Families

    Emergency shelter to homeless households. The RISE Center paid for hotels for the homeless which provided emergency shelter to 24 families. They also built tiny homes across the street from the RISE Center which currently provides housing for 18 people. The RISE also provides paid security for people living in the tiny homes.

  • BIPOC Community Feeding Program

    The Rise Center's Feeding Program provides services individualized and tailored to Tacoma's black indigenous and people of color BIPOC population. The food bank produces meals that are savored by Tacoma's BIPOC community with its special seasoning and culturally appropriate dishes and snacks. The program also keeps food and snacks readily available daily which helped around 43,000 people throughout the year.
