  • Support for Returning Citizens

    HumanKindr has assisted many individuals throughout this past year. We have helped fund graduate studies for men in the Maine State Prison. We have helped with supplying funding towards the Maine State Prison gardening program. We have supported recovery coaching to those suffering from addiction and their families. We continue to seek out new ways to assist returning citizens in becoming financially independent and successful in their recovery and transition after incarceration.

    The charitable, educational and social welfare purposes for which the Corporation is organized are: (a) to promote broader access to residential, vocational, employment, educational, and financial assistance and programs for individuals who have a desire to improve their current situation (b) any other purposes consistent with the Corporation's mission that do not in any way disqualify the Corporation as an exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
