Through our Halo Food Project and Green Food Land initiatives, we advance land stewardship, regenerative agriculture, and clean energy education. These spaces are designed to engage residents directly in sustainable farming practices, climate education, and collaborative land-use planning, forming an integral part of our broader Community Food and Farming Program. Currently, we work with a dedicated pool of 200 volunteers and serve over 5,000 residents annually. Our efforts include: Distributing fresh produce and pre-packed food to underserved residents. Supporting local growers to strengthen community-based food systems. Hosting educational workshops on climate-resilient agriculture and sustainability. The Green Food Land Project specifically focuses on land stewardship and development for community farming and clean-tech demonstration sites, supporting long-term sustainability goals and climate resilience in rural areas of California.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$9.9KSOMAH Community Program
