Community Agriculture and Representation Initiative
Through a partnership with The Common Market we have continued to provide over 3,000 lbs of farm-fresh produce to local Indigenous communities and our neighbors As members of BlackAFinSTEM, we co-organized BlackBirdersWeek, a social media campaign to highlight Black people in nature, show representation in the natural science STEM fields, and support global protests for Black lives. Through a partnership with the Cooperative Gardens Commission, we have established ourselves as a seed hub. We have offered seeds, seedlings, and grow bags, and encourage our communities to grow their own produce.
