THE MISSION IS TO (A)PROVIDE EMERGENCY AND DISASTER RELIEF, SUPPORT, INFORMATION AND EDUCATION IN RESPONSE TO EMERGENCIES SUCH AS BLACKOUTS, STORMS, NATURAL DISASTERS, PANDEMICS AND OTHER MAJOR EVENTS TO THE PUBLIC AND (B)ASSIST WITH THE COORDINATION EFFORTS OF VARIOUS NOT-FOR-PROFIT AND OTHER AGENCIES AND ORGANIZATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH SUCH EVENTS.
