    Educational Service Program Expenses - These expenses include the following Salaries and Wages - The Director is paid a salary and outside contractors are brought in to teach classes during the week. Rent/Utility/Occupancy - monthly rent paid for the use of the school property and utilities cost Food Expense - Thrive Academy contracts with a food service that feeds the students breakfast and lunch Office Expenses - these expenses include school supplies, computer and copier costs, and cleaning supplies Transportation - Students are picked up and taken home each day from school. 23 Students were enrolled in the school. There was a mix of new and returning students 2 new students received a Dyslexia diagnosis and made remarkable progress in their reading The school follows the Georgia Education Requirements and all the students received instruction in: Math, English, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education and Bible Students participated in weekly trauma groups and progressed in their emotional wellness and health Trauma groups, field trips, and other activities

  • Student Housing Support Program

    Student Housing Rent, Utilities, Wages, Food Cost Thrive Academy contracted with a boys house leader and a girls house leader for student housing. Thrive Academy contracted with and funded two separate student houses. Each house leader had at least four students in the student housing with them and all of these students showed remarkable spiritual and emotional progress and character development.
