  • Litigation for Golf Course Preservation

    During 2022 our organization initiated litigation against the local golf course owner and their partner a home builder. We filed a declaratory judgment lawsuit to ask the Court to settle a dispute between us and these two parties regarding interpretation of the Club West Golf Course CCRs restrictions. We believe these restrictions require the land to always be a golf course but the other parties believe the restrictions can be easily cancelled at any time. In addition to the 50 members of the Club West Conservancy this litigation will benefit all 2,500 members of the Club West community which community surveys have shown is strongly against the construction of new housing on the golf course.

  • Communications for Litigation Efforts

    Our organization funded the communications vehicles i.e. website PO Box Slack software to allow us to keep the Club West Conservancy membership and the broader community well informed on the status of our litigation efforts.

  • Program 1 [2025]

    During 2025 our organization continued to fund litigation against an investment group that wants to build houses across the golf course in the center of our community. This benefits the 2,500 residents in our community because they want to see the golf course reopened or the land left as open space preserving the amazing mountain views.
