  • Happy Hooves Therapeutic Farm Therapy Program

    Happy Hooves Therapeutic Farm is a not-for-profit outpatient therapy center that is providing an opportunity for families and children dealing with disability to receive physical therapy, occupational therapy, and therapeutic riding from the for-profit company, Strides In Motion. Strides In Motion is responsible for providing licensed therapists who conduct therapy sessions at Happy Hooves Therapeutic Farm. Strides In Motion uses the horses that live on and are cared for by Happy Hooves Therapeutic Farm during the therapy sessions. During 2023, there have been 1000 one-hour sessions provided for 30 special needs children.

  • Happy Hooves Therapeutic Farm Summer Camps

    Happy Hooves Therapeutic Farm provides summer camps for children who are dealing with disabilities. These weekly camps have learning segments which include: outside fun and games, story time with the animals, grooming, petting and holding the animals, and fun arts and crafts. Campers are taught how to lead a horse, train a pig, pick up a chicken, and chase a goat. During 2023, six weeks of camp were offered for 4 days a week, with 120 children in attendance.
