UNITED WAY SOLICITS AND RECEIVES DONATIONS FOR DISTRIBUTION TO UNITED WAY PROGRAMS AND OTHER DONOR-CHOSEN AGENCIES. DISTRIBUTIONS ARE MADE BASED UPON A DONOR'S DESIGNATION OF MONIES TO SPECIFIC AGENCIES, OR BY ALLOCATION BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO UNITED WAY AND OTHER PARTICIPATING AGENCIES.
