In 2024, RISE continued advancing its mission to support families impacted by gun violence through trauma-informed, evidence-based programming. RISE provided its 8-week Family Healing Cohort to surviving caregivers and children, offering grief support, therapeutic practices, and practical stabilization services. The organization served approximately 120 individuals this year, contributing to more than 1,440 individuals served since inception. RISE also expanded its national presence, serving as a host site for the largest national conference on gun violence, participating in White House discussions, and graduating from the Community Violence Intervention Leadership Academy. Additionally, RISE strengthened its organizational infrastructure, prioritizing staff wellness, refining staffing strategies, and developing a strategic roadmap for 2025 focused on sustainability, expanded programming, and long-term community impact.
