  • Health Awareness Campaigns

    We participated in Health Awareness Events and Campaigns providing evidence based wellness education and resources to 100+ individuals. At these events we disseminated and distributed free of charge educational resources and information on better health initiatives such as disease prevention and awareness (American Heart Association), Healthy for Life healthy eating, and mental health (NIMH). The health fairs also allowed us to build connections and gain recognition in our community.

  • Mapping My Future Program

    Our "Mapping My Future - Choosing My Path" program is a new program developed to help address the high drop out rate in our local schools. Our mentoring workshop encourages students to stay in school and make healthy life choices. We worked with a group of about 30 students helping them to develop attainable goal plans for their future and careers. Our aim is to help our youths become successful productive citizens.

  • Vision Board Workshop

    In our vision board workshop we worked with a small group of women motivating and empowering them to take charge of the lives. Through this process, the participants are asked to focus on their intentions, tap into their inner creativity and take proactive steps towards turning their visions into tangible results. In the workshop we provided tools and techniques on creating smart goals, tips on how to achieve these goals, and create vision boards to visualize their dreams and goals in a creative and inspiring way.
