  • Ride Up Grades Bike Camp

    Ride Up Grades @ TREK Bike Camp - The heartbeat of Ride Up Grades. Always held for two weeks, this camp is for riders who have the basic (can pedal unassisted and ride in a relatively straight line and brake safely) We take them from awkward handling and no understanding of gearing to being able to ride competently in a group, handle hills, corners, flat tires and more. Every camp includes mechanics and nutrition components. They begin as solo riders and emerge inevitably as a team. Every year coaches and campers are moved (literally to tears at the last day circle) by the transformation 150 miles in two weeks makes in the individual cyclist and group as a whole.

  • Advanced Cycling Skills Camp

    Advanced Week Summer Camp - Currently hosted by Roys Sheepshead Cycle in August. Advanced week is for riders who have completed the July summer camp or who come on recommendation from other cycling programs. The mechanics are more advanced, the pace is faster on the rides and they cover about the same amount of miles as our July camp in just one week.

  • Youth Cycling Sponsorship Program

    Sponsor-Shift - Our play on a sponsorship. Ride Up Grades loans a gently used and well-maintained road bike to riders who are in need, who demonstrate commitment to riding a certain number of miles per week/month, who engage in their communities through cycling, and who represent Ride Up Grades as an outstanding youth citizen. We also provide gently used gear, like helmets, jerseys, gloves and new padded cycling shorts.
