Goodness Village Supportive Housing
Goodness Village provides permanent supportive housing to individuals who are chronically unsheltered pairing dignified stable housing with wraparound services designed to promote long-term stability health and community reintegration. Located on the CrossWinds Church campus in Livermore CA the Village includes 28 tiny homes community gathering space and onsite staff offices. Our program is designed specifically for individuals who meet the HUD definition of chronic homelessness-those living with disabling conditions who have experienced extended or repeated episodes of unsheltered homelessness. We offer 24 7 staff presence case management access to mental health and recovery resources community meals and an onsite vocational program. Since opening in June 2021 Goodness Village has housed over 40 individuals with a retention rate of over 85%. As of this filing 25 residents have remained housed for over 12 consecutive months demonstrating the effectiveness of our long-term trauma-informed model. In addition to housing stability participants report improved mental health increased access to employment stronger social ties and greater quality of life.
