    Sunrise Service Dogs SSD celebrated six new graduate service dog teams and placed 11 puppies with volunteer raisers. SSD carefully managed the genetics and socialization of all puppies to improve graduation rates long-term. An increase in demand for our programs and services prompted the addition of one new trainer and a program coordinator for comprehensive wrap around and lifetime support for each team.SSD

    Sunrise Service Dogs SSD demonstrated our unwavering commitment to lifelong partnerships by providing comprehensive support to six active and graduated handler dog teams and 11 puppy raisers. Our dedicated training staff worked tirelessly to ensure each SSD graduate and their assistance dog maintained a strong effective working relationship through customized follow up training sessions and annual recertification. This ongoing support included teaching new specialized tasks refreshing existing skills and adapting training approaches to meet our handlers evolving needs. Beyond our core mission of training an supporting service dog teams SSDs community education initiatives reached far and wide. Our engaging outreach programs connected with universities businesses dedicated volunteers and community organizations sharing the transformative impact of assistance dogs and SSDs vital role in creating life changing partnerships. Through these educations efforts weve built a stronger more informed community that understands and supports the essential work of SSD and the independence our teams achieve together.
