Debris Cleanup/Harm Reduction and Outreach and Housing Pathway
We Heart Seattle removes trash from Seatle's public spaces (parks, alleys, sidewalks, playgrounds, greenbelts, bike trails, vacant lots, and commercial zones), organizes individual trash cleanup events and accrues thousands of volunteer hours. Through our civic engagement, we restore degraded parks and partner with park stewards who maintain these spaces long-term. During our daily boots-on-the-ground activities, we connect individuals living unhoused to a range of vital resources, including housing and employment navigation, securing vital documents, removing a range of barriers and, ultimately, assisting individuals to move off the streets.
