  • Agriculture Education and Sustainability

    We provided funding for plants and animals at the farm. These funds allowed 450 students within the ARHS Agriculture Department to learn about the full life cycle of plants and animals. Students can learn how to plant, grow, and then use or sale the finished product to benefit the continue operations of the farm. Students gain the knowledge of gestation period, birth, loss of animals. Then they are able to help raise the animals for breeding, goat milk, or meat products that are then sold to continue the running of the farm. The goal is to be self-sustaining while continuing to grow the opportunities for students to see the importance of agriculture in our society.

  • Community Educational Events

    We provided funding for community events to support the educational opportunities for students and community members. At these events students have an opportunity to interact with the public while learning how to educate others about agriculture, Fox Ridge Farm, Fox Ridge Fund, financing, marketing, problem solving, and event planning. This includes our fundraising events located at the farm, peanuts and food bowls at football games, wreath and plants with our horticulture students.
