Sobriety and Recovery Program
SOBRIETY AND RECOVERY The primary purpose of the organization is to assist chemically dependent either drug or alcohol. Individuals achieve freedom from and chemical dependency and help enable them to transition into community life. The program works closely within the existing law enforcement and system. They rely heavily on the religious and established recovery groups and agencies. A major program tool is closely managed and supervision of individual time of its enrollees. Many of which are either required to work within the program or facing incarceration within the justice system. The program averages enrollment of over 7,000 individual annually. JOB TRAINING Because many enrollees do not have jobs or are unable to hold jobs because of their dependency problem a major focus on the program is to require each enrollee to either maintain a job within a job within the community or to work within one of the organizations job skills programs. LIFE SKILLS TRAINING The program integrates the total person in attempting to transition enrollees into the community. That training involves personal skills in development and recognition of family and community relationships. Many enrollees must also learn to recognize their community responsibility by facing issues within both the civil and criminal justice system. Most enrollees must be taught and learn economic and money management skills and how to meet and recognize every day life situations.
