  • Veterans Home Engagement Activities

    Beginning in 2023 we undertake Monthly visits to the Veterans home in Temple Texas. We visit with the persons living there and twice per year undertake a barbeque for them. There are 200 veterans living in the home. The barbecue is paid for by the annual Poppy sale

  • JROTC Scholarship and Support Program

    We work closely with the JROTC program in the school district. We provide them with 2 $1000 scholarships per year and also send 2 boys to Texas Boys State. We also provide 2 guest speakers for 2 days per month of the school year.

  • Veterans Assistance and Flag Retirement

    We conduct an American Flag retirement ceremony by burning on a monthly basis. We also assist Veterans to file with the VETERANS ADMINISTRATION for disability for the first time or for a request for increases.
