Local Food Access Program
The Local Food Access Program makes healthy and affordable WV grown food available to Appalachian communities especially low income and underserved families. Two mobile farmers markets fall under this program: the St. Isidore Market and Union Market both serve communities within Jefferson County WV. The Food Box Giveaway Program raises money to buy healthy & locally grown food from WV farmers at a fair price and distribute it out free of charge to hungry families in the community.
