Organic Movement Education and Advocacy
After a number of years of work, we presented our research documenting illegalities by USDA-accredited certifiers to the agency for enforcement. The allegations concern conflicts of interest. Another major study and associated call for enforcement involved exports to the United States that are allegedly illegally bypassing statutory mandates requiring all organic food to come from certified farms that are inspected on an annual basis. This places US farmers at a distinct competitive disadvantage and exposes consumers to potential fraud. Organic Eye's research is used to educate and and empower all organic movement stakeholders (especially eaters/consumers) so they can make discerning decisions in the marketplace. Our emails and videos help people find authentic, safe, and nutrient-dense food.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2023 – Dec 31, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$194.6K
