Movie Night Mashup was designed as a creative, community-centered outing that aligned with our mission: "To provide youths and young adults with essential life skills, educational opportunities, and mentorship through organized sports and team-building activities." This event offered participants a meaningful opportunity to bond, reflect, and learn while enjoying a shared cultural experience in a new environment. Impact: 100% of youth participants reported feeling included, safe, and excited to attend future events. 85% of participants indicated they had never attended a movie theater in a group setting before. Mentors reported noticeable improvements in participants' group behavior, conversation skills, and self-confidence. Strengthened community engagement and provided a bridge to longer-term mentorship opportunities.
