  • Pups for Veterans Program

    Pups for Veterans Provides companion dogs to military veterans and former service members for emotional support therapy and disability services. The dogs are attained from shelters and people who need their dogs re-homed. We paired 25 dogs with 25 veterans in 2022. These dogs will then go through extensive obedience training and canine good citizen certification with local dog training organizations.

  • Veteran Tandem Skydive Event

    Annual Veteran and Family Tandem Skydive and Dinner September 5 every year we take 15 veterans to Skydive Pepprell Ma to skydive tandem style. This event brings the veteran their family and the community together to bring awareness and prevention strategies to veteran suicide. 2022 was our 3rd year organizing this event. To date we have jumped 35 veterans tandem had 15 volunteers work 10 hours each and brought business to two separate parachuting companies.

  • Biannual Parachuting Retreat

    Biannual Parachuting Airborne Retreat - 20 veterans fly to Dunnelon Fl to parachute static line style and have multiple one on one and group mental health sessions The veterans will also participate in a nationwide study to prevent veteran suicide Each veteran will parachute solo 5 times with 19 other veterans Each one on one mental health session is one hour and focuses on trauma Group mental health sessions are conducted every morning before training for 1 hour There were 10 volunteers that worked 40 hours each The expense for the program in 2022 was low because we joined another group in training.
