  • Family Support and Food Assistance

    FAMILY SUPPORT (No Charge to families) Arm in Arm Outreach (AIAO) provided basic food staples for two meals per day to 60 individuals, totaling 43,800 meals for the year. Additional general well-being support included providing fuel for home heating and hot water access to 5 families for 5 winter months in a severe winter location. On a special-needs basis, funds for medicine and warm winter clothing were provided. Families were visited monthly to provide food cards and determine any additional needs. A Client Support volunteer interacted as needed to coordinate identifying and addressing one-time and long-term support needs. For 10 individuals, funds were provided for rent and utilities. Funds were provided for necessary residency permits.
