  • Capacity Building for Refugees

    Glocal community Partners has 3 Strategic Program areas. The first Program area is Capacity Building. Capacity Building is aimed at building the skills and knowledge of both refugees and volunteers. Glocal does this through training Adult Development and Youth development. The training for volunteers is a 3-hour training comprised of: Refugee 101 Cross cultural engagement Self-Sufficiency Understanding Loss and Training. Glocal facilitates a refugee women's English class on a weekly basis for around 40 women. Glocal also conducts a youth camp that is held during the summer for 16 weeks twice a week.

  • Family Assistance Program

    ommunity Partners has 3 Strategic Program areas. The Second Program area is Family Assistance. Family Assistance includes a Baby Shower Project Donations and Deliveries and Financial Assistance. Glocal facilitated 80 Baby showers help more than 300 families with Household kit donations and or furniture and 50 families with financial assistance to help with rent or utility bills.
