  • Latinx Food Bank Initiative

    Food Bank: AAP is the only Latinx food system in the country; our efforts not only address food insecurity through a cultural lens, we also support Latinx owned businesses by partnering with them to procure cultural dry goods and organic produce. In 2022 we distributed more than 140,000 lbs of food, serving more than 300 families and 1,200 individuals.

  • Community Celebrations Program

    Celebrations: AAP hosted 5 community celebrations in 2022 where more than 1,000 people attended our celebrations and more than $30,000 were reinvested back in to small business, vendors and artists.

  • Youth Summer Internship Program

    Youth/Community: We created a 12 week summer youth internship program where youth attended group therapy sessions, created and distributed a community mental survey and then created a social media campaign to address themes and questions that were learned from the survey.
