  • Student Stipend Support Program

    Stipends Our organization gives monthly stipends to ensure our students fully focus on the prep program. Our students live in the refugee camp and fully depend on UNHCR rations and do not receive any support from their parents. Giving them stipends ensures that they are able to focus on studying and preparing for college applications instead of having to find a job and work. We also give 2 facilitators on the ground stipends to ensure the smooth running of the program. 16 students and 2 facilitators on the ground

  • Elimisha Kakuma Center Operations

    Elimisha kakuma Operation EK maintains a center, provides laptops, WIFI, solar energy, lunch, water, and breakfast for the fully functioning of the program. We have had situations where we have to constantly replace laptops and repair the centre due to extreme weather conditions

    Student support We pay for our cohort departing to universities in the US, their visas, SEVIS fees, flights, the purchase of winter coats, and first-year dormitory items they need. This ensures that our students are able to transit successfully in their universities
