    The Organization exists to research , analyze and illuminate issues of economic, political, cultural and moral significance facing the state of North Carolina.To this end, The Organization commissions and carries out original research on a range of policy topics, which is published in research literature in both digital and physical formats.The Organization engages in wide ranging research initiatives , including literature review, original research,opinion surveys and in depth interviewes with policy makers, and makes the output of this research available to the general public.The Organization also makes charitable grants to worthy civil society organizations. The organization released three different policy papers,published more than four dozen articles and conducted multiple interviewes with state level policymakers.
