LIGHT OF THE WORLD MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL
Programs
Community Support and Food Distribution
Light Of The World Ministries International was founded in 2021 as a ministry to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serve those in need. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been many requests for emergency support made by individuals and families. The ministers at RPCVA decided to start feeding the community monthly. We have been serving the following communities: Southside Gardens, Cavalier Manor, College Square, Belleville Meadows, and Silvertree Seniors of Portsmouth. However, we need a building facility for organizational operations so that we can make a greater impact on those that we serve. We need a permanent meeting place to host ministry team meetings, conduct job fairs for the community, store large quantities of food, conduct health-related seminars, and perform religious activities. Currently, we are limited to what we can do as a ministry; for instance, the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank has partnership opportunities, but we do not have the storage space available to qualify partnering with them. RPCV has many programs in process that benefit the community. A description of each program will be shared as follows:GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$0Program 1 [2025]
