  • Advocacy for Children in Court

    ADVOCATE FOR THE BEST INTERESTS OF CHILDREN WHO ARE BEFORE THE COURT AS A RESULT OF ABUSE OR NEGLECT. WE HAVE SUCESSFULLY FINISHED OUR 1ST YEAR ON OUR OWN AS A 501C3. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS HAS HELPED ESTABLISH THREE ESSENTIAL DUTIES - FINANCE FUNDRAISING AND POLICY AND PROCEDURES. WE HAVE RECENTLY SET UP A FUNDRAISING EVENT COMMITTEE AND ARE HOPING THIS WILL BRING IN INDIVIDUAL DONORS. CASA OF GAGE COUNTY WAS AWARDED THE 2023 NON-PROFIT OF THE YEAR BY THE LOCAL CHAMBER.

  • Mentoring Initiative for At-Risk Youth

    Introduced a new mentoring and support initiative tailored for low risk youth on probation or transitioning out of the juvenile justice system in Gage County. Extended program coverage to assist youth in neighboring Jefferson and Saline Counties responding to a rising demand in child welfare and juvenile justice referrals.

  • Volunteer Advocacy for Families

    Served over 100 families-with none of the children who completed their cases returning to the court system-demonstrating sustained impact through consistent volunteer advocacy. Over the past three years more than 30 trained volunteers have served 50+ children supporting collaboration with local courts DHHS and schools.
