Clinicians in the Margins Program
The Organizations Clinicians in the Margins program serves to provide direct educational and community-building support for therapists in our community who are BIPOC andor identify as LGBTQIA Marginalized clinicians are more likely to be under-paid have decreased access to advanced trainings and experience higher rates of burnout In 2023 this program was able to serve 78 attendees through monthly educational self-care and community building workshops 46 of clinicians served identified as BIPOC 41 of clinicians served identified as LGBTQIA and 13 of clinicians served identified as both The monthly offering garnered a 487 out of 5 overall satisfaction rate from clinicians with 100 of participants stating that having a BIPOCLGBTQIA space for learning is important to them Our Clinicians in the Margins program was also able to provide advanced trauma training for 4 community clinicians 75 BIPOC 25 LGBTQIA within the program The ripple effect of these trainings means that 60-85 clients are now receiving access to advanced trauma interventionsGeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2023 – Dec 31, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$6.7KClients in the Margins Program
The Organizations Clients in the Margins program serves to provide access to safe and competent therapy services for BIPOC and LGBTQIA community members In 2023 we celebrated 89 therapy sessions provided through the launch of our Clients in the Margins Therapy Fund 585 of Therapy Fund participants identified as LGBTQIA 25 of participants identified as BIPOC and 165 of participants identified as both BIPOC and LGBTQIA with 22 of all LGBTQIA participants also identifying as Transgender Other Clients in the Margins programming included a partnership with Education Trust to provide youth process group for youth advocates as well as our Nashville Pride 2023 community engagement and mantra coping skill installmentGeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2023 – Dec 31, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$10.7KCompetency in the Margins Program
