Emergency Aid for Ukraine
The Organization PROVIDEd EMERGENCY AID TO CITIZENS OF UKRAINE SUFFERING FROM WAR in a variety of ways. The aid included sleeping bags, generators, food, safety equipment, and medical supplies and equipment to the people of Ukraine. In a "Door Dash" style, the Organization would deliver these to the elderly, disabled, and homebound when they were unable to get them. From May of 2022 when the program began, the organization was able to make deliveries of medication and assist over 250 people in Chernihiv. Beginning in July, Grocery deliveries were made to over 70 households ? women, children and handicapped individuals -- that could not obtain food due to the devastation of war in de-occupied villages of the Kharkiv Region. The Organization provided transportation in the form of rides or vehicles to individuals that lost vehicles or access to transportation due to the war. The Organization also helped transport people from the active war zones to safety in Western Ukraine. The Organization built modular homes for Ukranian families whose homes were destroyed. 25 modular homes were built for Ukrainian families so over 124 people were provided housing during the year. The materials are sourced in Ukraine whenever possible to provide jobs for Ukranians to support the local economy. The Organization Equipped six shelters in Eastern Ukraine for people of villages that were destroyed. Each shelter was provided refrigerators, bedding, microwaves, water heaters, computers, and cell phones, The Organization delivered enough Food for 1 meal per day for each person in the initial month.
