BUILDING STRONGER VETERANS
Programs
Veteran Trauma and Transformation Ventures
Program Service Accomplishment #1: BSV launched and continues to operate the Veteran Trauma and Transformation Ventures (VTTV) Coaching Program, a trauma-informed peer support and personal growth initiative. Coaching sessions are provided weekly in the community and bi-monthly at the Boise homeless shelter, supporting unhoused and at-risk veterans. These sessions focus on mental wellness, goal-setting, and life transformation, empowering veterans to reclaim their sense of purpose and agency. Program Service Accomplishment #2: BSV partners with local construction and service companies to place veterans into meaningful employment. This program includes skills assessments, mentorship, and job matching services. As a result, several veterans have gained stable employment with partner companies, contributing to long-term housing stability and reduced recidivism into homelessness. Program Service Accomplishment #3: BSV actively engages in community outreach and advocacy efforts through events like Ammo Therapy Day, workshops, and collaborations with other veteran support organizations. These events foster camaraderie, reduce isolation, and connect veterans to essential services in the areas of health, housing, education, and employment.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$0
