    Advocacy-1.275M people reached via social media platforms and website. 720 conversations with leaders in various formats (live events, speaking engagement, podcasts, etc.) on the economic impact of paying living wages to people. On YouTube alone we reached 2600 Subscriber watching over 119k times for over 1600 hours of content. PEOPLE Community Events- as listed 2 + shows per month to help educate and empower people on various subjects surrounding putting people first in businesses. Tied into our Advocacy. Average of 4k viewers each show on all platforms.

  • Transformation Kitchen Initiative

    Transformation Kitchen - We are currently expanding Transformation Kitchen, which serves as the practical, on-the-ground component of our advocacy work. In partnership with the Boys & Girls Club in Newburgh, we are teaching culinary and life skills to 10 youth aged 9-13 and 14-17. These young individuals can use these skills to develop healthy relationships with food and inspire their community to seek opportunities beyond what the streets offer. With Rayo de Sol Nicaragua we are creating Cocina de Transformació to build a physical kitchen and curriculum to help the youth in their community. We support our first adult student to help rebuild his life. We provide him with skills training, wellness checks, resources, and opportunities for living-wage employment. We use food trucks to reach food deserts and the food insecure, offering dignified dining options, resources, and hope. We call these monthly sessions "Love the Block".
