  • Humanitarian Aid for Ukrainians

    PlebeianHelpers Inc. raised approximately $156,000 from the public prior to the trip in August (some contributions were made after the trip and are held in the company's bank account for further aid). Since our volunteers paid for their expenses and the CEO performed all administrative tasks with the assistance of other officers and volunteers, the only expenses were the unavoidable $1396 in purchase fees and the $6788 in costs for distributing approximately $148,000 in goods and services. 100% of the contributions the Company received for purchasing goods and services for Ukrainians was used for purchasing goods and services for Ukrainians, including clothing, household goods, toys and games for children, hygiene products, medical equipment, home generators, kitchen appliances and cabinets, preserved food, school supplies, other basic supplies and an ambulance that is now being used for rescue operations in the conflict zone. In providing these goods and services, our volunteers worked with and now have excellent relationships with several refugee centers in Kraków and with other humanitarian aid groups that assisted with distribution efforts, including Kidsave, Youth With A Mission and UAid Direct. We intend to work with them again in 2024.
