Orange Heart Medal Distribution
Orange Heart Medal Distribution: Our organizations main objective is to award a unique medal to Vietnam veterans with a service-connected disability rating from the Department of Veterans Affairs resulting from Agent Orange exposure. This medal acknowledges their sacrifice for the nation. It is given to the Veteran or their surviving spouse at no cost. Raising Awareness: The Foundation educates and collaborates with local state and national legislators to pass laws recognizing dioxin and Agent Orange as chemical warfare. Currently 14 states acknowledge Agent Orange victims from the Vietnam War. This acknowledgment aids Veterans in proving exposure accessing healthcare and disability benefits. Orange Heart Medal Memorial: The Foundation has created an Orange Heart Medal Memorial in Springfield Tennessee to honor Vietnam Veterans impacted by Agent Orange exposure. Their names service branches and states of residence are permanently inscribed on the memorial. This initiative was inherited from a previous organization and is overseen by Springfield Memorial Gardens.
