Pediatric Respite Care Advocacy
Education and Awareness: We are shifting the national conversation-so that pediatric respite care is seen as essential, not optional. Through storytelling, media, and public engagement, we spotlight the gaps and uplift the models that work to reach policymakers and which has inspired pioneers in 12 new communities to join our coalition to expand critical supportive care for medically fragile children and their families. Our Children's Respite Homes of America social media has grown to 2.6K Facebook followers, we distribute electronic newsletters on coalition progress to our database of over 1,400 engaged professionals, donors, and families, and successfully secured two journal articles published to over 10K professionals working in palliative and hospice care.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesOct 1, 2023 – Sep 30, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$40.6KPediatric Palliative Care Advocacy

Community Building: We're helping local champions become local change makers by providing the tools, connections, and shared language to launch and grow respite homes across the U.S. From personalized mentorship to educational forums, we're creating a culture of readiness and momentum across the country. We host a quarterly National Advisory Council of senior leaders from across the U.S. for peer level sharing and strategic discussions.
